EXPO -2012 in Yeosu

EXPO -2012 Yeosu (the Republic of Korea).

The Republic of Korea has received a right to organize of EXPO 2012 in Yeosu under the aegis of International Bureau Exhibitions (IBE). The exhibition will be held from 12th of May till 12th of August 2012. The main theme of the Expo 2012 is "The Living Ocean and Coast: Diversity of Resources and Sustainable Activities."
The International Exhibition EXPO 2012 is supposed to be a large forum and give opportunity to the world community to touch ocean problems, changing climate, raising of water level, environmental pollution and taking measures for sustainable development of marine resources.
The organizers of the World Forum are carried out problems which are actual all over the world, Central Asian region, and specifically for our country as well.

Within the work of national expositions of the Republic of Uzbekistan it gives opportunity to report questions connecting with water-base problems in the region, taking measures on improvement of the environmental situation around the water basins, and to attract attention of the world community to cooperation in solution of global problems, especially to overcome consequences of the Aral crisis.
Taking into consideration that Uzbekistan has a profitable geographical location in the region one of the section of national exposition will be devoted to cooperation in the sphere of international transit traffic and development regional and subregional trade.
