International Universal Exhibitions EXPO on a scale of social-political and economic importance are unique events due to their brightness comparing with Olympic Games, this is the place of exchange of experience, embodiment of spirit of peaceful cooperation. It is no mere chance that the biggest of them are appreciated by contemporaries as "concentration of more important interests of Mankind", "epoch's ideology", "results of century".

The Republic of Uzbekistan as a sovereign state has already taken part in World Exhibitions three times: EXPO 1993 in Taejon (South Korea), EXPO 2000 in Hannover (Germany), EXPO 2005 in prefecture Aichi (Japan). By the way, Uzbekistan has being acted as the member of IBE at the EXPO 2000 and the EXPO 2005.

The World Exhibition EXPO 2010 will being held during 184 days from May 1 till October 31, 2010 in Shanghai (China).
The projected territory of exhibition park equals 5,28 square-kilometers, exposition area- 3,28 square-kilometers that will become a record one for the whole history of holding the EXPO.

On May, 2006, the Republic of Uzbekistan has handed in application to participate in the EXPO 2010 Shanghai.

Director of "Uzinfoinvest" Agency, has been appointed as a Commissioner General of Section of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the EXPO 2010.
